Zena was a stray that was so severly matted, the groomers had trouble even getting the hair shaved off. Her eyes also were badly infected and had ulcers from the lack of care and matting she had. We can't imagine the pain this girl was in. However, she has been groomed and her eyes are now doing well. She may have some scaring that will forever remain on her eyes. We are unsure if that will heal in time or if it will remain. However, she can see and is doing great. We can't tell you how sweet this girl is. She is a love bug all the way around. Zena is so greatful to have a good, loving home that she just wants to please you. She adores children of all sizes and is great with cats and dogs. She is still a puppy and loves to run and play. She will stay right by your side at all times. We feel this sweet girl will make a fantastic addtion to any home. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering. We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us.
