This cute little boy was pulled from the shelter at the last second because another rescue backed out on him. This little guy LOVES children and would be great in home with children to love on. He likes the dogs in his fost He seems to be fine with cats and just wants to pester them, but he hasn't been around them enough to see how rough he would be with them. He is the sweetest, CUTEST dog that you will ever meet. He is FULLY housebroken and has NEVER had an accident. He is not so good on a leash yet, he just rolls over on his back so he should probably be in a fenced yard. He loves everyone that he meets and is sweet as can be. You would never regret accepting him into your home. Adoption Fee: $275 Dustin came to us from a high kill gassing shelter in NC. He was scheduled to be put down the following day because a rescue backed out on him at the last minute. The rescue took his sister but left him because they found he was heart worm positive. We felt that Dustin deserved a chance so we agreed to treat him for heart-worms. Most people do not understand that heart-worms are not contagious and are easily treated with no after effects however, the treatment is VERY expensive. Dustin was transported to us, hospitalized and treated. Now it has been over a month since his treatment and he is 100% healthy. This little guy is so grateful for the chance that we offered him. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering. We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us.
