When we look at this picture, it makes us want to cry. We can't even imagine... this poor boy is so cute, and he has known nothing but neglect his entire life. Despite it all, he is still a sweet boy who loves everyone. He is around 4 years old and weighs just 7 pounds. He is a purebred Toy Poodle. I am a very sweet boy and will be your best friend but I am VERY scared and it will take some time for me to trust you. However, I will grab your heart in one look.... Afton will need a quite home, we do not feel he should go to a home with children. He has had a very hard life and just wants to feel safe and cuddle with you. We feel he would be a great companion for an older person that wants a little lap dog. Adoption Fee: $325 Afton was surrendered from a puppy mill in OH. Unfortunately, puppy mill dogs tend to need the most vetting care. Most of these dog have never been to a vet. Puppy mills do not give them up until they are too ill to work or become to old to breed. Please consider donating to their care. $5-$10 a month can go a long way for a dog in need. Paws of Tomorrow is not a shelter, we are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering. We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us. Our adoption fee is $300 for all doggies and puppies.
