Bandit is pending adoption. We have been unable to update this information due to the snow that has kept us from our rescue duties. We apologize to everyone that has submitted applications on him while he has been awaiting his forever home. Bandit was surrendered by his family because they were moving so they dropped off their 10 year old baby at the shelter just days before Christmas. Bandit is registered with the AKC and his papers will accompany him. He is scared and is a timid around men but we are working with him and slowly he is coming around. When you are 10 years old, it has to be hard to adjust to a new home and life. He is however great with children and other dogs. He just needs to trust you a bit and spend some one on one time with you before warming up. Once he does, he will be an outstanding boy. He loves to sit on your lap, ride in the car, and to go for walks. He also enjoys playing with toys, and having a blanket to curl up with. He knows how to sit, stay, and come. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering. We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us.
